I'm Pollyann, the founder of PALMA Artisan. I am a public school teacher with a passion for travel, style and functionality. I started PALMA Artisan after custom ordering a handmade Guatemalan bag for a new role I accepted within my school district. The role involves traveling from school to school and I wanted to treat myself for landing the new position but I also knew I would need a convenient way to carry around all the supplies I would use daily to support teachers. I began to realize that I was not the only one who loved the perfect blend of texture, style and functionality these bags offer when teacher after teacher asked about my bag in each school I visited. I began talking style and design with the Artisan in Guatemala who made my bag and before I knew it, PALMA Artisan was coming to fruition.
